Founded in 2010 by New York designer Jonathan Simkhai, the eponymous label has grown into a powerful voice in modern womenswear. Simkhai trained at Parsons School of Design and the Fashion Institute of Technology, and his early love for fashion took root at just 14, working as a buyer and merchandiser at a local boutique — an experience that shaped his instinct for what women actually want from a garment.

Structure with sensuality

Simkhai draws inspiration from architecture and sculpture, blending progressive construction techniques with intimate hand-detailing. The result: clean, linear silhouettes that carry both strength and romance. In 2015, the brand won the prestigious CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund — a defining moment that helped bring Simkhai to the global stage.

Today, based in Los Angeles, the brand has expanded into accessories and lifestyle, while staying true to its founding vision: clothing for women who live boldly and unapologetically.
