Shipping Costs
UK DELIVERY
Phone accessory orders & notebooks (including diaries) for the United Kingdom are shipped with DPD, Evri or Royal mail. Clothing & accessories (including bags, jewellery and shoes) are shipped with Olympex Global for a possible next-day delivery after dispatch. Please note that this may take longer (up to 4 working days) for reasons beyond Olympex Global's control. Shipping within the UK is charged at £8.00.
Side note: We aim to dispatch orders 1-2 working days. We do not ship on the weekend or bank holidays; therefore your order will be processed the next working day.
EU EXPRESS DELIVERY
Orders are shipped with DHL, Fedex and UPS. Shipment takes 3-6 working days to reach the delivery address (subject to customs clearance). You will be charged import charges. Please note that this may take longer for reasons beyond the courier's control. Shipping to destinations within the EU is charged at £40.00.
INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY
Orders are shipped with DHL, Fedex or UPS depending on region. Shipment takes 3-7 working days to reach the delivery destination (subject to customs clearance, weather & political conditions). We will ensure to keep you informed of any delays that occur as a result of customs inspections. Shipping to international destinations is charged at £40.00 or a rare occasion due to unreasonably higher shipping rates this may cost more, we will contact you prior to shipment for approval.
From time-to-time, we run free shipping promotions. To be notified of any promotional codes or other offers valid on our site via email, simply sign up to our e-news at the footer of our website.
DUTIES & TAXES AND VAT
Duties and Taxes are calculated according to your shipping destination. Local VAT will be applied to orders shipped to EU and UK, excluding Channel Islands. EU and International orders are shipped on a DDU (Delivery Duties Unpaid) basis. This means that any duties and taxes incurred in the country of destination are the responsibility of the customer. If a shipment is refused, we will do what we can to nullify the customs charges and have the shipment returned to The Place London. We cannot guarantee that customs charges can be voided for a refused shipment. In this case, we will deduct the amount from your refund.
Please also note that your shipment/order cannot be classed as personal effects/personal use as your shipment is coming from The Place London as a business to yourself as a consumer. Therefore, you are responsible for import duties/taxes at your local customs office. Duty and taxes incurred in the country of destination are the responsibility of the customer. When you placed your order, you agreed to our terms and conditions of purchase.
