The Place London is an independent multi-brand fashion boutique in the heart of Mayfair, steps from Oxford Street. We offer a carefully curated selection of clothing and accessories for women and men, alongside lifestyle pieces such as writing instruments, vases and diaries.
Our selection brings together designers and heritage houses we genuinely love, including Aspesi, Mii Collection, V de Vinster, Pierre-Louis Mascia, Haikure, Les Filles d'Ailleurs, Simkhai, Rodebjer, ARMA and Leathersmith of London. We sell in store, online through our UK and French websites, and through Farfetch.
The Role
We're looking for an organised, curious and proactive Web & Digital Coordinator to run our online presence across the UK and France. You'll manage product listings, newsletters and marketplace content, and help us grow online sales.
The role is hands-on and varied, with real ownership. We want someone who thinks like a customer, researches what's possible, and makes it happen.
Key Responsibilities
Website (Shopify)
- Upload and publish new products on our UK and Paris Shopify stores
- Update the site structure, templates and collections, including refreshing collection images each season
- Set up discounts and run sales
- Continuously improve the customer experience by anticipating what shoppers want and refining how the site looks, works and feels
- Monitor the Shop app and Judge.me reviews
Newsletters & Email Marketing (Klaviyo)
- Plan, create and send weekly newsletters to our UK and FR audiences, from new collections to events and seasonal sales (Klaviyo)
- Build and refine automated flows in Shopify Messaging/Automation
- Track performance and share regular reports with the team
Farfetch
- Upload selected products to Farfetch and manage their stock levels
Google & Analytics
- Manage and monitor Google Analytics, Merchant Center (UK and FR), Search Console and Business Profile
- Analyse traffic, conversions and search performance, and produce regular reports with recommendations
- Support our SEO efforts for both markets
Brand Content & Suppliers
- Liaise with suppliers each season to gather images and product information
- Create brand and product content (descriptions, blog posts, brand stories) in English and, ideally, French, and support our Instagram and Pinterest channels
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Experience with Shopify (product management, collections, discounts)
- Experience with email marketing, ideally Klaviyo or a similar platform
- Strong written English and an eye for detail
- Comfortable with Photoshop or similar image editing tools
- Organised, reliable and able to manage several workstreams at once
- Self-motivated, resourceful and happy to figure things out independently
- Candidates must have the right to work in the UK.
Desirable
Fluent French, written and spoken
Experience in fashion, luxury or retail
Familiarity with Google Analytics, Merchant Center and Search Console
Knowledge of SEO best practices
Experience with Farfetch or other marketplaces
Experience writing copy for fashion or lifestyle brands
